E-Business
The School of Business offers a minor in E-Business. E-Business refers to intra- and inter-organizational processes involving the exchange of digitized information mediated and/or supported by the use of electronic technology.

E11a
The Department of Teacher Education administers the E11a program for teacher licensure in the arts and sciences, which leads to a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree and to provisional licensure to teach grades 7 through 12. This program is for students who are enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences but wish to obtain teacher licensure.

Early Childhood Education
One of five areas of study in the Department of Teacher Education. The Department of Teacher Education administers the program in Early Childhood Education (BSE.ECE), which leads to a Bachelor of Science in Education and to provisional licensure to teach preschool through grade 3.

Economics
One of nine different majors offered in the School of Business. Economics involves analyzing the national economy, especially problems of unemployment and inflation as well as the functions of the federal government.

Economics and Finance, Department of
One of the four academic units within the School of Business. The department offers majors in business economics and in finance for students in the School of Business. The department also offers majors in economics and in applied mathematical economics for students in the College of Arts and Sciences. Minors are also available to all students.

Educational Leadership, Department of
The Department of Educational Leadership offers a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership; licensure programs for principals and superintendents; and licensure in several educational administrative specialist areas. The department offers advanced study leading to the Specialist Degree in Education Leadership and the Ph.D. in Educational Leadership.

Educational Specialist Degree (EdS)
An educational specialist degree (EdS) is available to students who have completed the MSEd. The EdS program is designed to enhance individual capabilities for educational leadership. The program of study requires a minimum of 33 semester hours of graduate work beyond the master's degree.

Electrical Engineering
One of six areas of study in the School of Engineering. The electrical and computer engineering department offers an accelerated 5 year B.S. - M.S. program, where students completing their Bachelor of Science can attain their Master of Science in Electrical Engineering within one additional year.

Electronic Engineering Technology
One of six areas of study in the School of Engineering. The electronic engineering technology program prepares students for careers in the electronics field. The curriculum includes a strong emphasis on electronic engineering technology while centering on applied engineering topics.

English
Students majoring in English must complete at least thirty-six semester hours of English courses, including first-year composition, and at least twenty-four semester hours at the 300-400 level. Students in B.A. programs can acquire teacher licensure in Integrated Language Arts through the E11A program.

Environmental Biology
Environmental biology is a science specialization based upon the fundamentals of biology and ecology. The curriculum also requires a challenging core of environmentally-related science courses and coursework drawn from a multidisciplinary elective pool that includes offerings in the humanities and social sciences.

Exercise Science and Fitness Management
One of five majors in the Department of Health and Sport Science. Exercise Science and Fitness Management prepares professionals to promote and manage positive, healthful lifestyles in others. It provides trained personnel who conduct physical fitness testing, rehabilitation principles and procedures, and personal fitness training programs.
